The Warwick Gliding Centre is proud to host the QLD 2008 State Soaring Championships. Located in South East Queensland, the Warwick Gliding Centre enjoys soaring conditions over:
- the mountainous great dividing range (offers ridge lift and wave)
- the sparse darling downs plains (10 knots to 10,000ft is common)
- the granite belt (wine country)
